Am I supposed to tell my children to work harder than I did?! I don’t want them to experience half of what I have, yet I am seen as a failure and wonder how I will provide for them.
My political apathy has ruled for too long… I AM THE 99%
Today, a friend of mine who is very “comfortable” in monetary terms told me about this blog and how she reads it every day and just cries. It is quite moving, and I’m anxious/excited to see how the 99%/Occupy Wall Street movement will play out and what I personally can do to be a part of it. I wonder if I could/should go door to door in my neighborhood and talk to people about it, try to get them to join the march that’s happening in Charleston next Saturday…
