Stephen Colbert, as seen through the arches of Randolph Hall
So, this rally was awesome and it’s incredible that it attracted exponentially more people than any of the “legit” candidates’ events. My favorite parts were a) when Colbert said “Good times!” and everyone who loves Strangers with Candy had a tiny joygasm and b) when Herman Cain mentioned that young people have to get involved because he and SC “…won’t be around forever,” and some brilliant lad yelled, “Stephen’s never going to die!”
(eta: and c) when the babyfaced college kid next to us started yelling “Pokemon The Movie 2000!” at Herman Cain and then pulled a VHS copy of the movie out of his bag and held it up over his head.)
