Shit and/or shinola

It's time, homie.

eikon:

Eikon just returned from documenting of Montreal’s latest tour, in support of their new album, Skeletal Lamping.  The band rented out a local arena a week prior to the tour so they could put the entire stage show together and rehearse the show in it’s entirety.
Once the tour kicked off, we were rolling day and night.  The first leg of the tour started in Durham, NC and ended in NYC, NY at the Roseland ballroom, where lead singer Kevin Barnes rode a horse onto stage before performing Nirvana’s “Teen Spirit” with MGMT’s lead singer, Andrew VanWyngarden.
The footage will be used for tour promos and possibly a short documentary that will accompany the live DVD for Skeletal Lamping.

Can’t get enough of these Kevin Barnes half-naked on a horse pictures. And now a video, too?!
Isn’t it amazing how K.B.’s decision to Sell Out(back) returned precisely the results selling out is intended to engender (i.e. more money, bigger crowds, live animals on stage, arguably less but finer clothing)? High five, all day.
